Erik Brataas is the managing director of FONO – the Norwegian association of independent labels, representing app. 150 members.
Previous experience includes being CEO of Norwegian digital distribution pioneer Phonofile from 1999 – 2017, and 6 years serving on the Merlin board (2011 – 2017).
He has also co-founded music publisher Arctic Rights Management, and the labels TBC Records and Farmen, and served on various boards in the Norwegian music industry over the last 30 years.
