Biography

In 2006, at the age of 21, Robert started in the business with a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Music Industry. His first job was to co-ordinate the pioneer streaming music service operations at the telecom giant 3Mobile in Sweden and Denmark. The 3Music service instantly became a huge success with a digital market share in Sweden of 55%.

In 2007 he started the position as Head of Digital at the biggest independent music company in the Nordics – Bonnier Amigo Music Group (today known as Cosmos Music) where he helped to lead the company through a full transition from a big physical independent record label and distribution business to one of the leading digital players in the Nordic music market. 

Cosmos Music’s company history dates back to 1966, when in-house imprint Amigo was founded in Stockholm and we are proud to have been the record label of choice for hundreds of artists ever since. Today, Cosmos Music is a digitally focused and 100% independent Swedish music company with an international outlook. Cosmos invest heavily into A&R and our global network of close distribution partners, marketing teams, publicists and radio pluggers provides us with a worldwide reach. Cosmos can tailor international campaigns for any artist with border breaking ambitions – in any territory and in any format. Cosmos Music owns the biggest independent catalogue of masters in Scandinavia and we have a long term commitment to the creative marketing of these recordings.

Robert also serves as a director of the board at Swedish Label Rights, Export Music Sweden and Ifpi Sweden.
