Noemi Planas



Noemí Planas joined Spanish indie label Acuarela in 2000 where she worked for 12 years in the production, digital and rights areas, and built the publishing department of the company. She has also worked in Acuarela's book publishing division, coordinated the Tanned Tin festival, and in 2010 set up her own music publishing company Iralaluna. She is a founder member of the Independent Phonographic Union (UFI) and was on the board since its creation in 2003, chiefly in the Collecting Societies working committee, which negotiated the first phonographic contract for independent labels with SGAE with equal conditions as those of IFPI members. She became a staff member in 2012, and is currently the association's general manager.
